Bob currently has the privilege of serving as the Director of Worship Development for Sovereign Grace Ministries. Growing up as a Roman Catholic, he planned to become a missionary priest in a third world country. It didn’t happen. While a freshman in college, someone from Campus Crusade shared the Gospel with him and for the first time realized that the death of Jesus on the cross paid for ALL his sins. He turned from sin and put complete trust in Jesus Christ to save him from God’s wrath. After receiving a piano performance degree from Temple University in 1976, Bob traveled for 8 years with the contemporary Christian group GLAD, as a song writer, speaker, and arranger. Leaving the group in 1984, he continued writing and arranging for them. Their most well known recording is The A Cappella Project, released in 1988. In 1997, after 12 years as a pastor, Bob moved to Covenant Life Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland to serve in his present role. His main tasks includes equipping pastors and musicians in the theology and practice of congregational worship, contributing to Sovereign Grace recordings, and being one of the worship leaders at Covenant Life. Bob is married to Julie and they have six children and seven grandchildren.
