Recognized as a forward-thinking piano and keys player, programmer and composer, Matt is also an in-demand session musician. His signature blending of acoustic instruments and electronic processes can be heard in tracks from artists including Meghan Kabir, Stephen Duopolous, Derek Webb, Rush Of Fools, Mandisa, Ellis Paul, Velez and Norah Jones latest CD ‘The Fall’.
In 2008 Matt began shifting towards those projects which would give more artistic freedom and satisfy his love of electronic and ambient music. He started Tactus Cartel, an electronic music collective, and began working on soundtracks and short scores. In addition to his work as a producer and musician, he is working on music for film, tv, and video games, and also working on a solo ambient project to be released early 2010.
